B.Sc. Gaël Spicher
As part of my Master's thesis, I am describing Lower Jurassic Eurhinosaur (ichthyosaur) specimens from Mistelgau. The aim of this thesis is to determine whether these specimens are similar to specimens found in the Posidonia Shale (e.g. in Holzmaden), which are slightly older than Mistelgau. Besides marine reptiles such as ichthyosaurs, I have a strong interest in the palaeontology of turtles and am working on several side projects, especially with three-dimensional models obtained by segmentation.
